Why I started it

I spent 20 years in market research across Telco and Media, studying how people actually use products versus how they’re marketed. The gap is often embarrassing.

I got tired of reviews that describe spec sheets instead of lived experience. So I started writing the reviews I wished existed — the kind that answer “should I actually buy this?” rather than “what does the product page say?”
